Can you really program a Range Rover key at the roadside?

Yes. Modern Range Rovers, Discoverys, Defenders and Jaguars are programmed through the vehicle's own security modules using manufacturer-level equipment. That equipment is in the van, so the job happens wherever your car is — driveway, car park, roadside or a locked storage unit. There is no need to recover the vehicle to a main dealer.

I've lost every key to my Land Rover. Is that possible without the dealer?

All keys lost is one of the most common JLR jobs we do. We read the vehicle's security data, generate a new key and pair it through the correct procedure. Typical on-site time is 60 to 120 minutes depending on model and year. Your car does not need to be moved.

Will my old JLR keys still work afterwards?

Accepted Answer

By default yes, we simply add a key. If your originals were lost or stolen we can delete them from the vehicle so they will no longer unlock or start it — which is what most people want after a theft. Just tell us which you'd prefer.

How much is a Range Rover or Jaguar key?

Accepted Answer

It depends on model year and whether it's a spare or an all keys lost job — a spare while you still have a working key is always the cheapest route. You get a fixed price quoted from your registration before we travel, with no call-out fee, and if we can't complete the job there's no charge.

Are your JLR keys genuine?

Accepted Answer

We supply OE or OE-equivalent smart keys on the correct frequency for your model, with proper casings and buttons — not the low-grade fobs that fail within months. Keyless entry, boot release and push-to-start all work exactly as they should.

What proof do I need to show you?

Photo ID plus proof you own or are entitled to the vehicle — usually the V5C logbook, MOT certificate or finance/lease documents in your name. We check this on every JLR job. It protects you as much as it protects us.

My key fob is dead — do I need a whole new key?

Accepted Answer

Often not. Failed battery contacts, water ingress, worn buttons and de-synced remotes are all repairable at the kerbside for far less than a new fob. We diagnose before we sell you anything.
